We have managed various projects for clients in Life Sciences. Before any medical translator can start working for us on a medical project, they must pass a quality test. They are only able to work on a medical project once they successfully pass this test.
Our verified medical linguists translate various kinds of text from different medical fields. Among other things we have translated texts on diabetic meters, various tubes, CT scans, X-ray equipment, devices used by physicians, instruction leaflets in medication packaging and in tests for patients, studies, recommendations for patients.
For example, we did a translation of an artificial circulatory support system used in heart surgery. The projects themselves may come separately into several parts. Firstly, projects arrive for translation, then they are subjected to proofreading, before being checked by a third party, and then by an expert.
The translation is then transferred to the final file and once again checked, revised, and corrected. A concluding finishing check is made in the final file to ensure everything is appropriate and as it should be. When translating Life Science projects, this quality check process is extremely important, because with every translated text a patient’s life may be at stake and so the translation must be error-free. We, as your translation agency, also invite experts to join in the translation process to ensure we give the client the absolute best result.
